You have to remember that an LCD TV is only a piece of technology, and while it can be quite good, it will never be perfect to everyone. But if you go with the average, you can’t go wrong. If most people disliked a feature or the quality, chances are that you will as well. And if most people give it a 9 or a 10, you can be pretty sure you will have a great piece of TV technology our of it. But before disregarding an LCD TV because of lower ratings, check people’s full review as well. If someone gave a TV a bad rating, try to find out why. Did they not look the quality of the image, of the motion, of the sounds or did the TV had too little features? Then decide how important this is to you. Maybe you only need a TV for the kids room, then you probably don’t need the latest technology. Did a gamer or a heavy sport fan commented on the possibility of a somewhat blur with fast acting movements? If you are intending on watching mostly news or some reality tv shows, this may not be too much of an issue. Have people complained about the quality of the sound coming out of the TV? If you are intending on using a surrounded system, you can just disregarded this problem. Poor angle-view quality? Unless you are thinking of hosting each of your favorite football game with a big group of people watching from angles or intending to use the TV in a setting where you would have to move a lot around, angle-view quality might not be too important to you. And one last thing you may take in consideration is the quality of the customer service. If half the reviews talk about extremely poor customer service, you have to think about the possibility of having to deal with them. These are all factors you should include in your search to the best LCD TVs. Remember that only you know your needs and your expectations, and by reading reviews of the best LCD tvs, you will be able to determine which one will suit your needs best. Happy shopping!

Sharp Starts its Aquos Quattron TV Line
All the bigs names are in for the race to the 3D TV. Samsung, Sony, LG and Toshiba… All of them? No, Sharp seems to be preoccupied by something else… Something big… the Quattron TV. Luckily for sharp, the attraction of the 3D TV has left the Quattron market wide open and fairly unguarded. As a matter of fact, Sharp is probably alone in the race and has been making strong progress on its new line of Quattron LCD TVs. These TVs use the Quad Pixel Technology. Connoisseurs have probably already seen Star Trek’s George Takei promoting this new line of TV in a some recently released ads for the TV (Quattron TV?).
Many reviewers mention that Quattron is the best image humanity has ever seen in a regular TV. According to them, after you see a Quattron TV, you will wonder how you did not realize how unrealistic tv images were until Quattron came in. The Quattron simply uses an addition to RGB. The problem with the RGB colorspace is that it only occupies a tiny fraction of the whole colorspace that we can perceive. So , the addition of a fourth color, the yellow color, in the Quattron series of tv’s, allows this colorspace to be greatly expanded, which results in much clearer, and much more realistic colors.

What are the best LCD TVs for you?
Getting the right sized lcd tv is an important part in maximizing your viewing experience as a whole. You don’t want to be sitting in your living room, leaning back trying to take in the screen because it’s too large. Similarly, you don’t want to be leaning forward and squinting because the screen is much too small for the room. We’ve put together a guide to help you choose the best lcd tv size for you.
First off, go into your living room (or wherever you’re going to be putting the television, and measure the distance from your couch to wherever your tv will be. This is an important step, you’ll want to decide before hand on the size, based on your room’s layout and where your furniture is. You can always rearrange it later, but its better to measure ahead of time.
Here is a basic chart of screen size and optimal viewing distance. Ideally, you want about 2.5 ft per 10″ of television. This is just meant as a general guideline, as some people will prefer to sit closer or further.
Screen Viewing Distance
30″ 6.5 – 8.5 ft
40″ 9 – 11 ft
50″ 11.5 – 13.5 ft
60″ 14 – 17 ft
70″ 16 – 19 ft
Make sure that you are seated with your eyes approximately level with the middle of the screen. This will ensure that the picture appears at it’s brightest to your eyes.
The last consideration is viewing angle. If this is to be a family television, for example, you may need to set it further back so that everyone is able to see the picture clearly. Viewing angle considerations need to be made, so you should consult the technical specifications of the best LCD TVs.

Best LCD TVs or Plasma TVs?
Like many other people, you may be having trouble deciding between a plasma and lcd television. Luckily, we’ve put together this great guide to help you in your decision! Take a look at the following criteria and make your decision.
Size: Vendors typically carry both plasma and lcd televisions for very large screen sizes. If you’re thinking about getting a really big (40″-50″ or more) television for your living room, both lcd or plasma will be fine.
Cost: LCD has become more popular in recent years, so more and more vendors are offering lcd televisions instead of other technologies. This has resulted in very competitive pricing between the different brands.
Weight: LCD wins again here, as their tv’s are typically quite a bit lighter than the plasma equivalents. For a large tv, the different in weight could be more than 30lbs. Most people don’t move their televisions often though, so this may not be an important factor for you.
Image Quality: This is an area that plasma tv’s still win out, despite increased popularity from lcd tvs. The image and contrast ratio on a plasma tv is difficult to match, and historically plasma tvs enjoyed a huge lead in image quality over their lcd rivals. In the last year, LCD televisions have become very competitive though, and the difference is minimal.
Energy Efficiency: LCD tvs, on average, use less energy than their plasma counterparts.

What are the best LCD TVs small category?
If you are looking to purchase a TV for the bedroom, the kitchen or the kids room, a 20″-30″ LCD TV is probably more than enough. When purchasing a small LCD TV, keep in mind that it is not necessary to go with a high resolution TV, since you (or the kids) will probably not be able to distinguish all the details on a smaller screen.

A 32″ may not be your dream TV, but a TV this size can have several advantages over a bigger TV. 32″ LCD TVs are versatile and are among the most best selling size TVs. Here are our top picks for the best 32” LCD TV for less than $500! Those TV were selection for their overall quality/price, factoring in the performance of the TV and its features.

| 3. |
will exceed your expectations!
Rating by customers:
Resolution: 720p
Contrast: 15,000:1
What customers have to say: “Considerable Improvements to the Earlier Models With an Economy Price” |
Affordability
First, 32″ LCD TVs are normally very affordable. Instead of paying an exorbitant price for a good 52 inch TV or a less price but for a 52 inch TV of questionable quality, many people prefer to buy a good 32″ LCD TV.
Convenient storage and space
If you own a smaller house, live in an apartment or want to use the new TV in the kids room, a 27 inch TV may be too small and the big plasma or projection TV is probably out of question… A 32 inch TV will easily fit your living room or bedroom, and allow some room for other furniture and or decoration. Moreover, a 32″ TV is small enough to be mounted on a wall, which make it even more convenient if you are likely to move your TV around to watch it from several angles (couch, dining table, computer desk, etc). Remember the thumb of rule with HDTV LCD TVs, you should be sitting at least 1.5 to 3 times the screen size to experience the best out of your LCD TV.
Resolution
1080p means clarity and better resolution. This is especially true for a big size screen TV. But at 32″, chances are that you will not notice the difference between a 720p and a 1080p. On the other end, a higher end model with 1080p could provide a noticeable more accurate colors or a faster response time (ideal for gamers or fast sports fan).

TVs
Choosing a tv in the great world of TVs is everything but easy. In today’s society, a TV is not only a tv anymore. TV means technology, image and picture quality. With newer technology, manufacturers offer brighter colors, more realistic pictures that will bring you to another dimension when watching the latest movie or will make you feel in the middle of the action when watching the finals of your favorite sport.
TV and technologies
Several new technologies in televisions are confusing most people about what to look for when purchasing a TV. For over 50 years, we didn’t have to choose : everyone was watching CRT based TVs. But today, we are bombarded by several new technologies, including most people’s favorite : LCD vs Plasma.
LCD vs Plasma
So the big question is : LCD vs Plasma, is there a better one? Which one to choose? Well, first, what you have to understand is that there isn’t necessarily a “better” one. The best one is simply the TV that will suit your lifestyle, your needs and your budget. A TV which will correspond to all your criteria will be YOUR best TV. Remember that your brother-in-law, football buddy, hockey teammate or the store salesman description of the “best” TV may not reflect your own needs. In summary, you need the match the right TV to the right use in order to make the TV excel in what it is best at. Both LCD and Plasma tv are versatile because of their ultra-thin designm but today LCD tvs have gained ground and are the far most sold tvs. So here is a handy chart that will help you determine which of those two technologies is best in your case.
